Milton, Hughes Earn First Team All-Super Region 2 Honors

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – On Wednesday, the Daktronics All-Super Region 2 Football Team was announced and Florida Tech’s Xavier and Gabe Hughes each received a first team selection.
Milton joins Mars Hill’s Dmitri Holmes as the only two receivers named to the first team.
Milton ended his Panther career with the school’s first 1,000-yard receiving season, tallying 1,116 yards and 10 touchdowns en route to being named the Gulf South Conference Co-Offensive Player of the Year.
Hughes is the lone tight end to be bestowed with first team honors. The Lighthouse Point, Florida native completed his junior season at FIT with 492 yards and six touchdowns. Hughes was selected for the All-GSC First Team for the second-consecutive year for his efforts.
The GSC was well represented on the All-Super Region 2 Team, with 14 conference players making the first team and an additional 10 receiving second team laurels.
