Arson Suspected In Shiloh Christian Church Fire

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Arson is suspected in a fire that Melbourne police officers and firefighters responded to at about 2:38 a.m. Monday at the Shiloh Christian Church, located at 3900 Sarno Road. (See map above)

Once on scene, a small active fire was discovered in an exterior attached maintenance shed.

A fire investigator was called to the scene for further investigation of the cause of the fire, and arson is suspected, according to police.

According to police, graffiti was also discovered in and around the maintenance shed, and on a large storage container.

The case has been forwarded to the detective division for further investigation.
