Citizens Identify Robbery Suspect Via Sheriff’s Facebook

BREVARD COUNTY • SATELLITE BEACH, FLORIDA – Thanks to citizen’s assistance, the suspect that attacked and knocked two victims unconscious and stole their jewelry outside a Satellite Beach 7-Eleven on March 6 has been positively identified.
The incident is still under investigation after the suspect was identified less than an hour after being posted on the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Facebook Page.
The incident occurred in the early morning hours of March 6 at the 7-Eleven on 198 Highway A1A.

“Our citizens continue to stand with us against crime,” said Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey.
The two victims were knocked unconscious and had their necklaces removed, which were value at approximately $20,000. One of the necklaces is reported to have had a “1715 Spanish Fleet” gold coin on it as a charm.
