BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Selection Sunday is here and it’s that time of the year again where millions fill out their brackets.
This year Space Coast Daily is excited to offer the winner of our group challenge a free weekend hotel package on Cocoa Beach.

As exciting as the NCAA tournament itself tends to be, it can be argued that Selection Sunday is on the same level for diehard basketball fans.
However, the people who watch the most college basketball tend do the worst at predicting the results of these brackets and it’s the people who choose winners based on mascots that have experts tearing up their brackets, in frustration, after the second round.
Nonetheless, chances of filling out a perfect bracket are slim. Just look at last year when Warren Buffet and Quicken Loans teamed up to offer 1 billion dollars for anyone who filled out a perfect bracket last year. Good luck, it has never been done.
In fact, the odds of filling out a perfect 64-team bracket (after the 1st round) is 1 in 9,223,372,036,854,775,808.
If you are still digesting those numbers, that’s 1 in over 9 quintillion.
So breakout the pencil, make sure you have an extra eraser.
