Marco Rubio Says He’s the Man To Lead the Country Into the Next Century
“A New American Century,” that is Marco Rubio’s slogan and after he announced his bid to become President Monday night, many who attended the announcement, including SpaceCoastDaily.com at the Freedom Tower in Miami, felt Rubio was the man to lead them into this next “American Century.”
In what is going to be a crowded Republican race for the nomination, Rubio brings youth and excitement surrounding the party.
He is the fourth Senator to throw his hat in the presidential ring for 2016.
With Hillary Clinton announcing her run for President Sunday and two republican candidates Senator Ted Cruz-Texas and Senator Rand Paul- Kentucky, the field is only going to get bigger in the coming months.
Critics say Rubio lacks experience and his youth could pose problems but that lack of experience and youth could be turned into a positive for Rubio.
American’s this next election have clamored for the next President to be not like every other Washington politician.
“Too many leaders and their ideas are stuck in the twentieth century. They are busy looking backwards so they do not see how jobs and prosperity depend on our ability to compete in a global economy. Our leaders put us at a disadvantage by taxing, borrowing and over regulating like it it’s 1999,” said Rubio.
“I’ve heard some say that I should step aside and wait my turn. But I cannot. I believe our very identity as a exceptional nation is at stake and I can make a difference as President.”
