CLERK ROBBED AT GUNPOINT
ABOVE VIDEO: Palm Bay Police patrol officers and detectives are currently attempting to identify three suspects who robbed a clerk at gunpoint at a local convenience store early Sunday morning.
BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Palm Bay Police patrol officers and detectives are currently attempting to identify three suspects who robbed a clerk at gunpoint at a local convenience store early Sunday morning.
At 2:46 a.m. Sunday, the clerk called 9-1-1 to report the robbery at the Kangaroo Express at 2595 Emerson Drive. He told responding officers he was working in the store when he heard the front door chime.
According to the Palm Bay police, when the clerk went to the front of the store he was approached by three males wearing masks and dark clothing.
The clerk reported one of the males pointed a gun at him and demanded cash and other items.
The clerk complied and the suspects fled the store with a small amount of cash, cigarettes, lottery tickets and food items.
According to police, within minutes of the initial call another officer saw two males matching the description attempting to remove a bicycle from the garage of a home on Merrimac Street.
As the officer tried to confront the individuals they fled the area.
The suspects were not located and no one was injured.
