BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Playing in one of NCAA Division II college football’s top conferences certainly has its benefits. One of those perks is the opportunity to play in front of a national audience on ESPN3 and the WatchESPN app.

For the second consecutive year, the Gulf South Conference will feature at least one of its weekly matchups on the worldwide leader in sports. In all, 10 GSC games will be played on the live multi-screen sports network, including three of the Panthers’ matchups.

FIT will have its first GSC-TV Game of the Week on Sept. 26 when the Panthers travel to Florence, Alabama for a 7 p.m. ET contest with North Alabama.

The following Saturday, FIT will face Delta State in another game of the week, this time at 7 p.m. ET in Cleveland, Mississippi. The Panthers will wrap up their game of the week schedule with the 1 p.m. ET Homecoming Game against West Georgia on Nov. 7 in Melbourne.

“The Gulf South Conference fields the top teams in NCAA Division II and it makes sense for us to work with ESPN to showcase these institutions and student-athletes on its live multi-screen network, ESPN3,” said GSC Commissioner Matt Wilson.

“We are excited about the games featured on the slate. Every week presents intriguing storylines and high-caliber match-ups.”

ESPN3 is ESPN’s live multi-screen sports network, a destination that delivers thousands of exclusive sports events annually.
