Florida Preparatory Academy In Melbourne To Host Open House Saturday

Open House will begin promptly at 9:30 a.m.
BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Florida Prep is opening its doors to prospective students and their parents during an Open House this Saturday, Jan. 9.
Visitors will be greeted by school administrators in the historic Hall of Flags, where they will have the opportunity to meet some of Florida Prep’s department heads, including Admissions Director, Dean of Students and Principal.
Afterward, attendees will be given a tour of the academy accompanied by Florida Prep students.
“You will have a chance to see Florida Prep through a student’s perspective as well as have any questions answered by our Admissions Team,” said Marketing & Public Relations Director Jeanette Middleton.
“At the end of the Open House, the Admissions Team will be available to conduct student interviews.”
The Open House will begin promptly at 9:30 a.m. and conclude around 11:30 a.m.
Attendees will be introduced to the Academy’s new 21st Century Skills & Values Program, designed to equip students with the skills required to succeed in college and in life.
The program offers instruction in public speaking, leadership and real-world problem solving, character and entrepreneurial spirit, alongside a traditional academically focused curriculum.
Florida Prep offers boys and girls in middle and high school grades small classes, a dedicated college guidance team, exciting electives and dual-enrollment opportunities, in a non-religious setting.
With local transportation and easy access to the school’s downtown Melbourne campus, Florida Prep offers students a unique College Prep education.
