Calling all Parrot Heads for Attitude Event

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Preparations are in high gear for Cheeseburger In Paradise: A River Rendezvous,” that is sure to please the most discriminating Parrot Heads.

Sponsored by Melbourne Alumnae Panhellenic, the event takes place on April 2, 2016, starting at 5 p.m. Tickets and sponsorships are available now.

In keeping with the theme, a gorgeous Indian Riverfront property will be transformed into a Caribbean-style Island Paradise. Live music by the tropical rock duo “Highway One,” gourmet burgers, margaritas, raffles and fun will make for a Margaritaville experience.

Funds raised will benefit the group’s scholarship program for college women who are members of a Panhellenic Conference organization.

“Over the last 55 years Melbourne Alumnae Panhellenic has awarded over $300,000 in college scholarships to Brevard County collegiates,”  said Michele Everett, event chair.

“Our hope is these girls will stay in our Florida paradise, and return to Brevard County empowered by their education and make positive community contributions.”

Reservation levels include:

• $1,000 “Best Bait in Town” (Includes six reservations)

• $500 “Fins to the Right” (Includes four reservations)

• $250 “Fins to the Left” (Includes two reservations)

Tickets are $65 per person before March 15, 2016, $75 per person after.

Checks can be made payable to Melbourne Alumnae Panhellenic, a 501(c)(3) organization.

Since its beginning, the mission of Melbourne Alumnae Panhellenic has been to assist in the promotion of advanced education of National Panhellenic Conference sorority women by granting scholarships to qualified students.

In addition to scholarships, Melbourne Alumnae Panhellenic strives to disseminate information about National Panhellenic Conference organizations to qualified under graduate women. The members participate in fund raising activities to implement these scholarship and informational programs.
