TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA – On Sunday, Gov. Rick Scott ordered flags across the Sunshine State to half-staff in honor of U.S. Justice Antonin Scalia who passed away over the weekend.
Flags will remain at half-staff until sunset on the day of Scalia’s internment.
“I am honored to direct our flags to be flown at half-staff in memory of United States Supreme Court Associate Justice Antonin Scalia,” Scott said.
“ He was a devoted public servant who faithfully upheld the rule of law. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.”
