Governor Rick Scott Orders Flags At Half-Staff To Honor Justice Antonin Scalia

On Sunday, Gov. Rick Scott ordered flags across the Sunshine State to half-staff in honor of U.S. Justice Antonin Scalia who passed away over the weekend.

TALLAHASSEE,  FLORIDA – On Sunday, Gov. Rick Scott ordered flags across the Sunshine State to half-staff in honor of U.S. Justice Antonin Scalia who passed away over the weekend.

Flags will remain at half-staff until sunset on the day of Scalia’s internment.

“I am honored to direct our flags to be flown at half-staff in memory of United States Supreme Court Associate Justice Antonin Scalia,” Scott said.

“ He was a devoted public servant who faithfully upheld the rule of law. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.”
