be an advocate for child in state’s care

A child in your community needs your help. Brevard County has more than 1,000 children who have been removed from their homes and need someone like you to give them a voice, so they are not another statistic.

Because the number of cases has grown tremendously in recent years, more volunteers are urgently needed. Become a Guardian Ad Litem.

The Guardian Ad Litem is an advocate for a child in the state’s care. A Guardian is not a foster parent, legal guardian, or expected to provide a home for the child.

For more information and to meet current Guardians, come to our Guardian Ad Litem Community Spotlight event Thursday, February 25 at 5:30 p.m. at the Pizza Gallery in Viera.

If you are unable attend this event, but are interested in signing up for one of the training classes, please call 321-690-6823 or go to BrevardCounty.us/GuardianAdLitem
