PawsLikeMe, the free online platform co-founded by Brevard County resident Elizabeth Holmes, matches adoptable dogs with new families based on personality and lifestyle, is taking its personal approach to canine-human relationships one step further.
The company announces pre-sales for its newest product, PawsKit, a subscription box for dog owners.
Unlike other dog-centric subscription boxes which send out products and treats based solely on the size of a pet, the PawsKit will contain contents that are tailored specifically to meet the needs of the person and the dog—whether it’s an energetic puppy or a laid-back senior citizen.
The PawsKit does this by making each subscriber take a special, new Lifestyle Quiz which then groups each dog into one of 12 core distinct personalities.
Each PawsKit contains customized product offerings—such as toys, treats and training aids—as well advice and resources for the pet parent, based on the results of PawsLikeMe’s new Lifestyle Quiz.
The PawsLikeMe Lifestyle quiz gives owners deeper insight into their pet’s personality and what it means in terms of behavior.
There are more than 250 potential outcomes for personality, and each one of those is mapped out to 12 core PawsKit characters.
The first month of the PawsKit subscription also includes 30 days of pet insurance coverage.

“The core mission of PawsLikeMe is to help people and pets find each other, and live happier lives together,” said Holmes.
“Part of living happier lives together is understanding one another. Through our new lifestyle quiz, we’ll be able to provide people with more insight about their dog’s behavior and tips and tricks to enhance their bond.”
PawsLikeMe is offering special pre-order pricing through February 29, with costs as low as $16 a month for a six-month subscription.
