Florida Tech head football coach Steve Englehart and his staff will host the second annual Florida Tech Football Offshore Fishing Tournament “Sea Blitz” on May 20 and 21.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Florida Tech head football coach Steve Englehart and his staff will host the second annual Florida Tech Football Offshore Fishing Tournament “Sea Blitz” on May 20 and 21.

The tournament will be presented by FrogBones Family Shooting Center.

“This is a great opportunity to raise some money for the football team here at Florida Tech,” said Englehart.

“It’s a good way to get people involved that maybe haven’t been involved previously at Florida Tech, whether that be from an athletics standpoint or just involved in general.”

“Sea Blitz” Tournament weekend will kick off with a Captain’s party on Friday, May 20 at the Panther Dining Hall on the Florida Tech Campus.

The tournament is scheduled for Saturday, May 21 with the official weigh-in from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Capt’n Butcher’s Grille, Bar & Marina, located at 1732 Indian River Drive in Sebastian.

Following the tournament, an awards party will be sponsored by and held at Capt’n Butcher’s Grille, Bar & Marina.

“We’re excited, I think it’s going to be a fun couple of days,” said Englehart.

The entry fee to participate ranges from $150 to $1,000, with proceeds benefiting the Florida Tech Panther Football program.
