ABOVE VIDEO: A 23-year old woman who was bitten by a shark on a Boca Raton beach on Sunday has been released from the hospital and is now recovering.

A woman who was bitten by a shark on a Boca Raton beach on Sunday has been released from the hospital and is now recovering.

The two-foot long nurse shark was still attached to the woman’s arm as she was being taken to the hospital.

“The shark wouldn’t give up,” witness Shlomo Jacob of Boca Raton told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

“It was barely breathing, but it wasn’t letting go.”

The 23-year-old bite victim was swimming in the ocean and walked out with the shark clamped on her right forearm.
