TRAFFIC ALERT: Traffic Congestion At U.S. 1 and 520 Slowed Due To Malfunctioning Railroad Crossing Arms

The southbound lanes of U.S. 1 are currently shut down at State Road 528, and will be closed for at least the next hour.
TRAFFIC ALERT: U.S. 1 and 520 intersection slow moving due to malfunctioning railroad crossing arms.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – U.S. 1 and State Road 520 intersection slow moving due to malfunctioning railroad crossing arms.

Patrol officers are redirecting traffic at various intersections in order to get traffic around the blocked roadway.

FEC Railroad has been contacted and response is anticipated within the hour.

Cocoa police ask to please use caution and avoid this intersection if possible.
