Eastern Florida State College Has 26 Student-Athletes Named To All-Academic Team

EFSC had 26 student-athletes named to the All-Academic Team in their sport by the Florida College System Activities Association

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA –Eastern Florida State College athletes continue to impress in the classroom as 26 student-athletes were named to the All-Academic Team in their sport by the Florida College System Activities Association.

The Eastern Florida State College women’s volleyball team led the way with seven players named to the team. In all, eight of the nine sports had a player make the All-Academic Team.

Thirteen student-athletes were honored as NJCAA Academic Student-Athlete Award winners.

Baseball – John Capra, Vincent Capra, Alexander Carpenter, Samuel Duran, Jacob Walsh
Men’s basketball – Austin Awad, Djordje Beronja
Men’s Golf – Taylor Whalen
Softball – Mackenzie Soughers, Taylor Zitiello, Hannah Roberts, Rosie Lyard
Women’s basketball – Emma Grimes, Jovana Vukovic
Women’s soccer – Arnela Cordic, Kaleigh Davis, Paula Astiazaran
Women’s tennis – Samantha Martin, Giulianna Hull
Volleyball – Mariana Dal Pozzo, Savannah Flemming, Lena Kaelberer, Avarie Lewis, Mariah Menke, Alondra Rivera Modesto, Juliana de Moura Torres
