Titusville Worker Falls Out of Bucket Truck Nearly 50-Feet, Victim Transported To Hospital

Brevard Public Schools has just completed its EOC policy meeting and BPS Superintendent Desmond Blackburn announced that all BPS schools will be closed both Thursday and Friday, October 6 - 7, due to inclement weather and all associated activities are cancelled through the weekend.
Rescue crews have responded to a scene that reportedly involved a worker in Titusville falling nearly 50-feet from bucket truck while trimming trees Tuesday morning.

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Rescue crews have responded to a scene that reportedly involved a worker in Titusville falling nearly 50-feet from bucket truck while trimming trees Tuesday morning at around 11 a.m.

The victim was transported to Holmes Regional Medical Center by helicopter.

The victim sustained serious injuries, according to a spokesperson with the Titusville Fire Department.

The identity of the victim is not yet known at this time.

Titusville Fire Department and Brevard County Fire Rescue assisted in the rescue.
