Florida Highway Patrol Investigating Fatal Motorcycle Crash Involving A Titusville Man

Florida Highway Patrol Troopers are on scene of a fatal crash in central Brevard County on Adamson Road and State Road 524.
Florida Highway Patrol is currently investigating a deadly motorcycle crash that involved a 1997 GMC pickup truck which killed a 60-year-old woman and injured a 39-year-old Titusville man Saturday afternoon.

ORANGE COUNTY, FLORIDA – Florida Highway Patrol is currently investigating a deadly motorcycle crash that involved a 1997 GMC pickup truck which killed a 60-year-old woman and injured a 39-year-old Titusville man Saturday afternoon.

The woman is identified as 60-year-old Brenda Heckle of Christmas, Florida.

The Titusville man is identified as 39-year-old William Crawford.

According to Sgt. Kim Montes of the Florida Highway Patrol, both motorists were traveling eastbound on Colonial Dr. in Orange County when the motorcyclist slowed to travel into the median break, the pickup truck rear ended the motorcyclist which resulted in the motorcyclist being ejected off the bike.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the pickup suffered minor injuries.

The crash is still under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol.
