Space Coast Cancer, Cancer Care Centers Foundations Join Forces In Fight Against Cancer

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Cancer Care Centers of Brevard Foundation, Inc. and Space Coast Cancer Foundation have joined forces to assist local cancer patients and their families.

Helping cancer patients in the community who do not have the resources to help themselves was Dr. Silas Charles’ original intent when he started the Cancer Care Centers Foundation in 1993.

To this day the Cancer Care Foundation does whatever it can to provide patient/family support, community outreach and education and assist with basic living expense for the underinsured.

In the same vein, Space Coast Cancer Foundation was established in 2006 by Dr. Richard Levine to assist cancer patients and their caregivers with financial and emotional demands associated with the diagnosis and treatment of cancer.

Due to the similar missions, the Space Coast Cancer Foundation will join the Cancer Care Centers of Brevard Foundation by conveying their assets and continue the mission of championing local cancer patients and their families through community outreach, education and financial assistance.
