5-Year-Old Child Injured After Being Struck By Maintenance Cart Near Pizza Gallery

BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – A five-year-old, female child was struck Friday evening by a maintenance cart in the area behind the Pizza Gallery located in The Avenue Viera.
According to Tod Goodyear of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, the child was transported to the hospital where she is recovering from non-life threatening injuries.
“The identities of those involved are not being released,” said Goodyear.
“The investigation into this incident is still ongoing and no charges have been filed on the 22-year-old driver at this time.”
