BREVARD COUNTY •  TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville police have recovered a body Sunday morning that is believed to be missing Titusville woman, Lori Lynn Upthegrove.

Investigators utilized information that her husband, Timothy UptheGrove, provided this morning to locate the body.

Upthegrove, 53 of Titusville, is being charged with 2nd-degree Murder, according to Titusville Police.

Detectives located the body around 10 a.m. Sunday morning in a wooded area off Bobbi Lane in Titusville, according to Amy Matthews of the Titusville Police Department.

Police say, based on the evidence early on in the investigation, detectives believed Lori was a victim of a violent crime after her husband was arrested for Obstructing Justice when he made false statements to police.

Evidence gathered so far suggest that Lori and her husband had an argument early Monday morning (Dec. 18) at their home located at 645 Cleveland Street.

That argument is believed to have turned violent which resulted in her husband inflicting a lethal injury to Lori, according to a release by police.

The body was placed into the back of the vehicle by her husband who then drove the car to a wooded area off Bobbi Lane.

Lori was reported missing by family members on December 19.
