BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Space Coast Public Service Hall of Fame will be unveiled and the initial inductees will be inducted on Friday, January 5 at 1 p.m. at Eastern Florida State College, Melbourne Campus, located at 3865 N. Wickham Road in the Public Safety Institute Building.
Those set to be formally inducted include inductees from the 2016 and 2017 classes.
Set for induction from the 2016 class are Dr. Maxwell King, Brevard County Fire Rescue District Chief Michael L. Lawrence, Sheriff Claude “Jake” Miller, Brevard Public Schools’ Principal Gary Shiffrin, FBI Special Agent Robert Waller and State Attorney Norman Wolfinger.
The honorees for the 2017 Space Coast Public Service Hall of Fame include Judge Jack Griesbaum, Chief Lee Cote, Rosette J. Brown, Eugene Johnson, Wayne Kee and Lt. Teresa Uzel.
“Please join us as we recognize these incredible public servants who were identified during the 2016 and 2017 Public Service Awards ceremony,” said Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey.
“The ceremony will unveil their prestigious awards to be housed in the beautiful Public Safety Institute at Eastern Florida State College.”
