Two Arrests Made In Last Week’s Deadly Shooting On Milton Street In North Brevard

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Police say two men have been arrested in the January 5 shooting homicide on Milton Street that killed Titusville resident Lorenzo Jamal Bell, 30, in front of the home at 1155 Milton St. last Friday.
William Jamar Smith, 30, from Cocoa, was arrested in Orlando on a warrant for Murder and Conspiracy to Commit Murder.
Smith was driven to a hospital shortly after the shooting by an acquaintance, according to Todd Hutchinson of the Titusville Department.
Investigators believe Smith was the unintended victim of a gunshot wound while an attack was being made on the murder victim.
Joseph Eric Brown, 48, from Cocoa, was arrested in the Cocoa area on a warrant for 1st Degree Premeditated Murder and Conspiracy to Commit Murder.
Joseph was booked into Brevard County Jail and the case remains an active criminal investigation where leads are still being developed.
