Vice President Mike Pence Conducts National Space Council Meeting At Kennedy Space Center

BREVARD COUNTY • KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, FLORIDA – Vice President Mike Pence arrived on the Space Coast when Air Force Two landed at Kennedy Space Center at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, according to the White House.

Wednesday’s live coverage of the meeting will begin at 10 a.m..

During his visit to the Space Coast, which will last through Wednesday, Vice President Pence will tour launch facilities at KSC and Cape Canaveral and host the National Space Council meeting “Moon, Mars, and Worlds Beyond: Winning the Next Frontier” set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Space Station Processing Facility.

The National Space Council meeting will include testimonials from leaders in the civil, commercial and national security sectors about the importance of the United States’ space enterprise.

Vice President Pence’s wife Karen has scheduled a tour of the Florida Hospital Cancer Institute in Orlando where she will meet with patients and staff involved in an art-therapy program.
