BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA– He never texts when driving, not even when his mother calls. He always buckles the passenger seat belt, even when the seat is empty.

He is “The World’s Safest Man” and he’s back providing tips on what drivers should not do when operating a moving vehicle.

The debonair well-dressed gentleman is actually a Lieutenant in the Investigative Division for the Brevard County Sheriff’s Department.

Created by the BCSO, The World’s Safest Man is a spoof from “The Most Interesting Man in the World” an advertising campaign for a popular adult beverage.

The ads feature “the world’s most interesting man,” a bearded, debonair gentleman, with voiceovers that are intended to be both humorous and outrageous.

The advertisements first began appearing in the United States in 2006 and have since then become a popular Internet meme.
