SPACE COAST DAILY TV: Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey leads the Law Enforcement Appreciation Parade from Viera High School at 9 a.m. The “Battle of the Badges” starts at 12 noon at the Government Center in Viera. Among the sponsors is Health First’s Viera Hospital.
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Please join the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office and First Responders throughout Brevard County for our 1st Annual “Law Enforcement Appreciation Parade” and “Battle of the Badges” on Saturday, May 12th starting at 9 a.m., in Viera.
This one of a kind event is designed to celebrate Law Enforcement and Fire Rescue members throughout our community.
The parade will not only have floats entered by local businesses and organizations but will also showcase the various Law Enforcement and Fire Rescue resources from agencies throughout Brevard County.
Following the parade, it’s time for some stiff competition between all of our First Responders as they try to win the coveted “Battle of the Badges” Trophy for the best Bar-B-Que, Chili, and Cupcakes as voted on by attendees.
So bring the entire family and come join us as we celebrate our First Responders who help keep us safe each and every day!
