**UPDATE **BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Melbourne Police announced on Wednesday that a wanted Walmart theft suspect, identified as Michael Christopher McCullough, has been arrested and booked into the Brevard County Jail.

Melbourne police were seeking the suspect who police say stole a surround-sound system from the Walmart located at 1000 N. Wickham Road.

According to police, on April 12 at about 7 p.m., McCullough entered the store and went directly to the electronics department.

The suspect selected an RCA surround-sound system and placed it in a shopping cart.

He then proceeded to the men’s apparel department and removed the spider wrap from the packaging.

At this point, the suspect exited the store through the grocery entrance without paying for the item.
