BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Golf comes in many forms on the Space Coast whether it’s disc golf, smash golf, miniature golf, or the classic game.
But now, FootGolf at Mallard’s Landing in Melbourne is the new craze.
A combination of soccer and golf, the game is played with a regulation size 5 soccer ball at a golf facility on shortened holes.
The rules are very much the same, except you use your feet instead of a club and you’re aiming to get the ball in the 21″ diameter cup in as few attempts as possible.
Mallard’s Landing now offers FootGolf daily after 2 p.m. and it is an accredited 18 hole course by the American FootGolf League.
Make sure you try this new inventive take on golf the next time you visit Florida’s Space Coast.
