To sign up for a “My Best Buy Account” you have to enter in your name, email address, and phone number. You will be required to create a password for your account. If it’s easier for you, sign up using your Goggle account.
Step Two: Sign Up for Best Buy Student Deals
Now that you have a My Best Buy Account started, it’s time to take advantage of special student offers and promotions.
Make sure you Sign up for “Student Deals” by entering in your current enrollment status, your birthday, school you attend or plan to attend, and your projected graduation date.
As soon as you enroll, deals will appear on your Member Offers dashboard which is located on the left-hand side of the page inside your Best Buy account.
How to Redeem Best Buy Student Deals
See an offer that you want to take advantage of? Here’s what you do:
- While on the Member deals page click on “Get Offer.”
- Click on Activate Offer
- Shop
Shopping Online: After activating the offer, click on the Shop Now button and add what you need to your cart. Hit Apply Offer on the payment page before you check out.
Shopping In-store: Make sure you download the Best Buy app and access the deal directly on your phone so you can use it in-store.
Things to Keep in Mind When Activating Best Buy Student Deals
When you apply a student offer, you won’t be able to combine it with other coupons. However, you can find sites that offer a little more bang for your buck when purchasing a Best Buy gift card.
