BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – John Alison, art educator at Ocean Breeze Elementary, was nominated by several people from the Indian Harbour Beach community for a $1,000 grant from LifeStyle Homes to support his art program.

LifeStyle’s Education Renovation program provides funds to teachers to help with a particular item or project that is not currently within budget.

The grant can be used to help pay for classroom supplies or any special projects that may be out of financial reach.

The nomination read:

“Mr. Alison is an all-around fabulous guy. He’s an educator who truly cares about the students, and you can feel it when you speak to him.

“He also directs the car loop every morning (rain or shine) with the brightest smile, making the kids feel warm and welcome. Art supplies can be very pricey and I’m sure his classroom could benefit greatly from this.”
