Viera Suntree Little League Juniors Nuke the East 15-2 in Five Innings to Win Their Opening World Series Game

TAYLOR, MICHIGAN – The East watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 15-2 loss to the Southeast team, represented by the Viera Suntree Little league Juniors, on Sunday during the Junior League Baseball World Series in Taylor, Michigan.
Southeast scored ten runs in the second inning. Southeast‘s big inning was driven by singles by Glendinning, Luc Iten, Keith, and Blake Strode, an error on a ball put in play by Cameron Ruston and Cole Smith, a walk by Cameron Simpkins, and a double by Apollos Horrell.
He lasted one and one-third innings, allowing zero hits and zero runs while striking out one and walking one. Smith, Dylan Jordan, and Glendinning all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team towards the victory.
The Viera Little League Juniors, representing the Southeast Region, will take on the Central Region at 2 p.m. Monday
