Melbourne Police Seek Suspect After One Victim Shot Multiple Times in Incident on 600 block of Walls Street

POLICE: It appears that this is not a random incident

Melbourne police officers responded to the 600 block of Walls Street for a reported shooting just before 3:30 p.m. on Friday.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Melbourne police officers responded to the 600 block of Walls Street for a reported shooting just before 3:30 p.m. on Friday.

According to Melbourne Police Lt. Shawn Eising, upon arrival officers were informed that the suspect shot into a group of people, striking one victim several times.

“It appears that this is not a random incident,” said Lt. Eising

The victim was transported to a local hospital, with non-life-threatening injuries.
