Eastern Florida State College Women’s Soccer Team Can Clinch Conference Title This Week

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College women’s soccer team can clinch its ninth Region 8 Conference title this week.
The No. 3 ranked Titans enter the week 5-0 in the conference with three conference games left and both ASA Miami and Daytona State College enter the week 3-3.
The women’s soccer team will travel to Polk State College on Wednesday, Oct. 16 before playing at ASA Miami on Sunday.
Eastern Florida State College defeated Polk State 1-0 in the first meeting of the season.
The Titans have yet to allow a goal in seven games this season, which is a program record.
The men’s soccer team will be back at Orlando Health Stadium on Wednesday night, hosting Daytona State College in a Region 8 Conference matchup.
The Titans are tied with Broward College for the top spot in the conference at 3-0-1.
Daytona State College is 2-3 in the conference and will wrap up the conference regular season on Wednesday.
The No. 3 ranked Titans won the first meeting at Daytona State College 1-0 in double overtime and have a four-game win streak against the Falcons.
Admission is free to Orlando Health Stadium and the game begins at 7 p.m.
The women’s golf team will look to build on their strong fall season, traveling to Lake Wales for the Webber International Invitational on Monday and Tuesday.
The women’s volleyball team will also hit the road for a couple of non-conference matches this week.
On Tuesday night the Titans will travel to Santa Fe, who is 8-11 on the season, for a 6 p.m. match and then will go to Lake Sumter State College on Saturday afternoon for a 1 p.m. match.
The Titans will finish the regular season next Tuesday night at Indian River State College.
On Thursday night the basketball teams will be hosting Titan Madness at Titan Field House on the Melbourne campus.
The teams will compete in a skills challenge, a 3-point contest as well as a dunk contest and then will hold a scrimmage for fans to get their first look at the teams.
Titan Madness will begin at 6 p.m. and admission is free.
