Youngblood has been mentoring new teachers for years without compensation.

She listens to problems, consoles them when there are tears and stands with them when it seems nobody else does.

She makes her school better with her knowledge of her subject area and true compassion for her students.

Youngblood is always helping others when she can with an upbeat demeanor and a smile.

She is described by her colleagues as “the teacher every principal wants, the co-worker all teachers need, and the instructor all students dream about.”
