Cocoa High Chorus Director Misty Martinez Named National Association for Music Educators Teacher of the Year

SPACE COAST DAILY TV: Cocoa High School chorus director Misty Martinez was the recipient of a prestigious award on Wednesday as she was named National Association for Music Educators Teacher of the Year through the Barbershop Harmony Society.

Martinez, along with Joe Cerutti from the Barbershop Harmony Society, Cocoa High senior Luis Merced and Dick Muir from the Harbor City Harmonizers, whose organization was instrumental in the nomination process, spoke about the award with Space Coast Daily’s Chris Bonanno.
