Eastern Florida State Women’s Soccer Coaches Named United Soccer South Region of Year

Carr finishes his final season as head coach of the Titans with a 133-23-6 career record

The Eastern Florida State College women’s soccer coaches were recognized as the Junior College South Region Staff of the Year by the United Soccer Coaches Association.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College women’s soccer coaches were recognized as the Junior College South Region Staff of the Year by the United Soccer Coaches Association.

Co-head coaches Jeff Carr and Scott Carswell along with associate head coach Teresa Moon led the Titans to a 16-1 record and a trip to the NJCAA Division I National Tournament semifinals.

Carr finishes his final season as head coach of the Titans with a 133-23-6 career record, making the national tournament in eight straight seasons.

Under Carr the Titans have reached the national championship game twice, in 2012 and 2015 and has won the Region 8 Conference title seven times.

Carswell will take over as the head coach after 17 seasons at Merritt Island High School, leading the girls soccer program to three state championships including back-to-back in 2017 and 2018 and went to eight state championship games in 17 seasons.
