Florida Tech’s Guillermo Segovia Earns First-Team Honors By United Soccer Coaches

Software Engineering major holds 3.45 GPA

BREVARD COUNTY MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Florida Tech men’s soccer standout, Guillermo Segovia, earned United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-South Region first-team honors.

The Spain native has excelled both in the classroom and on the pitch as this is his fourth award of the season, the basis for the previous three were performance.

As the Panthers’ primary attacker, the forward recorded team-highs in both goals and assists with eight apiece for 24 total points. His play propelled him to other awards like USC All-South Region first team, D2CCA All-South Region first team and All-SSC first team.

His success on the pitch has matched his classroom performance as the Software Engineering major currently holds a 3.45 GPA.

Segovia will now be eligible for inclusion on the USC Scholar All-America team.
