POLICE: Man in Titusville Dies After Shooting Himself in Connection With Marital Dispute

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – A man in Titusville has died Saturday after he shot himself near the Quality Inn off Cheney Highway during a marital dispute incident, according to police.

Police were called to the scene Saturday morning around 11:30 a.m. after reports of shots at the Quality Inn.

According to police, once on-scene, officers found the man had taken his own life with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Investigators say the incident stemmed from a marital dispute.

No other people were injured during the incident.

The man’s identity has not yet been released by police.
