West Melbourne Woman Killed After Crashing Vehicle Into Utility Pole Early Thursday Morning

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – A West Melbourne woman was killed Thursday after the vehicle she was driving crashed into a utility pole near the intersection of New Haven Avenue and Franklin Street in Melbourne.
According to Melbourne Police Commander Marc Claycomb, the victim has been identified as 43-year-old Nicole Jean Snyder.
“Rescue teams arrived at the scene around 4:41 a.m. when they discovered Snyder had died at the scene and was the sole occupant inside the vehicle,” said Commander Claycomb.
“Our traffic unit is currently investigating this crash as a Traffic Homicide Investigation and is seeking any witnesses or video pertaining to this crash.”
