Weather Report Shows Conditions 60-Percent Favorable for Tomorrow’s SpaceX Launch in Cape Canaveral

BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – The 45th Weather Squadron weather report for tomorrow’s SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launch from Cape Canaveral shows conditions are 60-percent favorable.

Launch window opens at 3:55 p.m. and closes at 4:10 p.m. ET

The launch will carry the U.S. Air Force’s third-generation navigation satellite for the Global Positioning System (GPS).

Following first stage separation, SpaceX will attempt to recover the main rocket booster on the drone ship ‘Of Course, I Still Love You’ stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.

The primary weather concerns are the Cumulus and Anvil Cloud Rules.
