BREVARD PUBLIC SCHOOLS UPDATE: Brevard Public Schools’ Tina Descovich, Brevard County School Board Member from District 3 talks about the upcoming school year and her Re-Election for District 3.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard Public School Board Member Tina Descovich visited the Space Coast Daily–Friday Night Locker Room Miker Erdman Cadillac TV Studios on Thursday to talk about her run for re-election in District 3.
Tina has been an advocate for students, parents and teachers in our community and has volunteered thousands of hours in Brevard Public Schools serving on multiple School Advisory Councils and as the President of the Parent Teacher Organization.
She is a graduate of Satellite High School and she and her husband Derek have two school-aged children that are currently attending Brevard Public Schools.
Descovich has over two decades of business experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication.
She has served on numerous community boards, also as the President of Sally’s Friends (a non-profit addiction recovery home for mothers), and is currently serving on the board of The Children’s Hunger Project.
Descovich, elected in 2016, won the by-district general election on November 8, 2016, after defeating Darcey Addo.
Before being elected in 2016, she served on the executive staff for United States Army Commanding General at Fort Lee.
She has also volunteered over two thousand hours with Brevard Public Schools.
