Florida Highway Patrol Troopers Investigating Fatal Accident That Happened on I-95 Friday Night

A 25-year-old man has died after being struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross Interstate 95 after a separate crash, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. According to Florida Highway Patrol Public Affairs Officer Lt. Kim Montes, the incident began when the yet-to-be-identified victim was involved in a crash with a vehicle on northbound I-95, and both vehicles then pulled over to the shoulder.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – A 25-year-old man has died after being struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross Interstate 95 after a separate crash, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

According to Florida Highway Patrol Public Affairs Officer Lt. Kim Montes, the incident began when the yet-to-be-identified victim was involved in a crash with a vehicle on northbound I-95, and both vehicles then pulled over to the shoulder.

As the victim tried to cross the northbound lanes of I-95, he was struck by another vehicle.

The incident occurred at approximately 10:50 p.m. on Friday at mile marker 190. The crash remains under investigation.
