BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA — Sullivan’s S&S Jewelers will celebrate their 65th Anniversary serving Brevard County with a special fundraiser that features a Seiko Limited Edition Brian May Red Special watch that pays homage to the rock group Queen’s iconic lead guitar player.
This special Sullivan’s S&S Jewelers fundraiser will benefit The Children’s Hunger Project that, that each week on Friday, helps as many elementary school children as possible have food to carry home for the weekend in their backpack.
Having obtained a scarce and valuable limited-edition watch made by Seiko, Sullivan’s S&S Jewelers invites the public to come into the store or participate online for the giveaway.
Tickets are available to win the watch for just $5 per entry.
Not only are 100 percent of the proceeds from the Seiko Watch Giveaway going to the charity, but Sullivan’s S&S Jewelers will also match the total dollar amount received from the ticket holders participating in the raffle.
“We chose The Children’s Hunger Project because they have done such a wonderful job making sure children don’t go hungry over the weekends,” said Sullivan’s S&S Jewelers co-owner Angie Evans.
“School is more than a place to learn. It is a place where children also have access to meals that are critical to their physical and mental growth. Sullivan’s S&S Jewelers wanted to highlight this charitable cause that had the idea to provide school children with a backpack full of food to carry home for the weekends. We at S&S believe this thoughtful and generous gesture brings meaning to the phrase “…and make us ever mindful of the needs of others.”
This giveaway will take place throughout the month of November.
Tickets are being sold for $5 each, both in-store at 209 N. Babcock Street in Melbourne, and online HERE.
