Virtual Zoom session set May 18-19

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The American Advertising Federation Space Coast chapter will host the virtual event “ADA Website Compliance for You and Your Clients” on May 18 and 19.
The virtual Zoom session will take place 11 a.m. until 12 noon both days with Ash Harris, CEO of AKEAWeb.com as the keynote speaker.
The event is free for all AAF Members and $30 for both days for all non-members. The $30 fee will be donated to the Brevard Achievement Center to further their own ADA programs.
The event will help organizations understand the importance of having an ADA accessible website, the legal ramifications for a non-compliant website, the target’s lawyers are after, and steps you can make to begin making the ADA compliance changes now.
“We have a unique opportunity to share this valuable information to everyone in Brevard,” said Stephanie Byrd, president of the American Advertising Federation Space Coast.
“Businesses large and small must be proactive with the current ADA compliance rules on all technology touchpoints they have with the general public.”
