Eastern Florida State Women’s Soccer Players Limardo, Taugbol Named NJCAA Division I All-Americans

Eastern Florida State College women’s soccer players Julieta Limardo and Marthe Taugbol are named NJCAA Division I All-Americans on Thursday. (EFSC image)

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Eastern Florida State College women’s soccer players Julieta Limardo and Marthe Taugbol are named NJCAA Division I All-Americans on Thursday.

Limardo was named to the NJCAA Division I first team as a midfielder.

The sophomore from Doral, Florida scored 11 goals for the Titans and finished her Titans career with 20 goals and six assists in two seasons.

She will be attending the University of Louisiana-Lafayette in the fall. Limardo has also named the Region 8 Player of the Year and to the NJCAA Division, I all-tournament team.

Taugbol was named to the NJCAA Division I second team as a defender.

The sophomore from Kongsvinger, Norway started the final seven games for the Titans at defensive center back and also scored a goal and had an assist.

Taugbol was also named to the Region 8 first team and to the NJCAA Division I all-tournament team.
