BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Eastern Florida State College will host the 20th annual Florida College’s Men’s Basketball Shootout on Nov. 12 and 13 at Titan Field House on the Melbourne campus.

The shootout will feature eight games over the two days with the Titans playing in the final game at 7:30 p.m. each night.

Five of the eight teams were in the state tournament last season, including state champion Chipola who made it to the semifinals in the NJCAA Division I National Tournament last season. Florida Southwestern, State College of Florida-Manatee, the Titans and Florida State College at Jacksonville along with Miami Dade, Santa Fe and Tallahassee will be playing in the tournament.

Eastern Florida State College, who was 18-5 last season, will play Chipola on the first day and then faces former assistant coach Tom Parks and his State College of Florida-Manatee team on Saturday night.

St. Petersburg will also be hosting eight games on the same days in the other half of the tournament.
