Cocoa Man Arrested in Cocoa Beach for Possession of Methamphetamine, Heroin

Cocoa Beach Police arrested 43-year-old Timothy J. Caldwell from Cocoa Saturday evening around 11 p.m. on the 1500 block of N. Atlantic Ave. for allegedly possessing felony narcotics.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Cocoa Beach Police arrested 43-year-old Timothy J. Caldwell from Cocoa Saturday evening around 11 p.m. on the 1500 block of N. Atlantic Ave. for allegedly possessing felony narcotics.

Officer Nick Ingersoll observed Caldwell appear to tamper with the police department’s radar speed trailer that had been deployed on A1A at Lori Wilson Park, and made contact to further investigate.

Caldwell was subsequently found to be in possession of suspected Heroin, Methamphetamine, unprescribed Alprazolam, and drug paraphernalia.

Caldwell was taken into custody without incident and transported to the county jail charged with several counts of possession of controlled substances and drug paraphernalia.

“Excellent police work, Nick,” said Cocoa Beach Police in a released statement.
