Driver Injured After Crashing Into Brevard County Fire Rescue Station 89 in Palm Bay

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue Station 89 in Palm Bay was struck by a vehicle Monday morning.

The result of the crash sent a driver of the vehicle to a local hospital as a trauma alert.

The station Lieutenant was in the bed when the vehicle struck the building and was not seriously injured. He also immediately began to assess and treat the driver of the vehicle.

The station is still operational and will undergo repairs soon. This station also houses Palm Bay Engine 6.
