Lightning Strikes Twice Productions Dinner Show

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Jack Smink‘s Lightning Strikes Twice Productions will present his Special Medal of Honor Recipient Benefit Show on Saturday, October 2 at the Space Coast Convention Center, located at 301 Tucker Lane in Cocoa.

Proceeds from a silent auction, 50/50 raffle and donations will be donated to the Veterans Memorial Center and River Rats Veterans group for the construction of the Medal of Honor Memorial building.

The Brevard Veterans Memorial Center, located at 400 S. Sykes Creek Parkway on Merritt Island behind the Merritt Square mall, is a non-profit organization with one goal in mind…to serve our veterans.

“Silent Auction items have been donated from many local vendors and businesses and honored guests will include Medal of Honor Recipient Melvin Morris, national and local government officials, past local government officials, honored military veterans, leaders in the Brevard business community – and more,” said Smink.

Cocoa resident Melvin Morris is a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War, a Special Forces soldier, and was presented with the Medal of Honor by President Barack Obama in 2014 for his actions in Vietnam in 1969. Morris single-handedly destroyed with a bag of grenades an enemy force in a series of bunkers that was pinning down his battalion. Morris was shot three times during that engagement.

NEW SHOW! NEW SONGS! NEW LOOK!

For the show, Smink said he will perform all-new music, featuring an all-new show, new songs and a new look.

“This benefit show will include songs from the 60s, 70s, and more,” said Smink. “I chose the songs and put new, updated musical arrangements to them, and on a dare, I even chose an AC/DC song!” said Smink.

Smink has been a singer and entertainer for 45 years and is famous for his unique voice, which naturally led him to sing Elvis’s music.

Originally, in 1976, he thought it would be fun to sing an Elvis song at a local church festival. His Elvis-like look and voice made the job easy. The crowd loved it and Smink’s future as an Elvis Tribute Artist was set.

He then traveled throughout the United States, England and beyond in large and small auditoriums – including a seven-year run at his own Vegas-style showroom – performing his “Unfinished Business” Elvis tribute shows.

The doors of the Special Medal of Honor Recipient Benefit Show will open at 6 p.m. Tickets for the show, which starts at 7 p.m., including dinner, are $48.

TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE NOW by calling or texting Karen at 321-604-1344.
