TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA – Former Rockledge Raider and current Florida State running back Jashaun Corbin talked about the Seminole’s 59-3 blowout victory over UMass Saturday afternoon in Tallahassee.

The 59 points are the most scored under Mike Norvell and the highest since FSU scored 77 vs. Delaware State in 2017, while the 590 total yards on offense are the highest since 2016 vs. Syracuse (654) and also the highest of Norvell’s tenure in Tallahassee.

Corbin finished the game with 127 rushing yards and one touchdown as the ‘Noles head to Death Valley on October 30 to take on the Clemson Tigers.

Corbin was a four-star recruit after a stellar four-year varsity career at Rockledge High School, where he totaled 2,252 all-purpose yards and 23 touchdowns his senior season, leading the Raiders to the regional semifinal round of the 5A state playoffs.

He had 1,641 all-purpose yards and 18 touchdowns as a junior for the Raiders and rushed for nearly 2,000 yards his sophomore year with 22 touchdowns and added four more receiving scores.
